Questions

Frequently asked

Something else on your mind? Call the office - it is always the same number.

When is GST Registration mandatory?

It is mandatory if your aggregate turnover exceeds ₹20 Lakhs (for services) or ₹40 Lakhs (for goods). However, for special category states and inter-state sellers, limits are lower or registration is mandatory regardless of turnover.

What is the difference between Regular and Composition Scheme?

Regular Taxpayers can collect tax from customers and claim Input Tax Credit but have more filing compliances. Composition dealers pay a low flat rate on turnover, cannot collect tax, cannot claim ITC, and have easier compliances.

Do I need a separate bank account for GST?

While applying, you can use your personal savings account details (for Proprietorship). However, it is highly recommended to open a Current Account in the business name to keep finances separate and professional.
