Questions

Frequently asked

Something else on your mind? Call the office - it is always the same number.

What is the difference between Public and Private Trust?

A Public Trust is created for the benefit of the general public (charity, education, religion). A Private Trust is created for the benefit of specific individuals or families.

How many trustees are required?

A minimum of 2 Trustees (including the Author/Settlor) are required to register a trust. There is no maximum limit.

Can family members be trustees?

Yes, family members can be trustees. However, for 12A & 80G tax exemptions, it is often recommended to have a diverse board to prove the trust is not for personal benefit.
