What is "Producer Proof"?

It is a document proving that the member is engaged in agricultural activity. Examples include 7/12 land extract, Khasra-Khatuni, letter from Tehsildar/Sarpanch, or Agriculture Income ITR.

Can a Producer Company be converted to a Public Company?

No, a Producer Company cannot be converted into a Public Limited Company. However, it can be converted into a Multi-State Cooperative Society.

Is there a limit on membership?

No, there is no maximum limit on the number of members in a Producer Company. The more members, the stronger the collective bargaining power.
