What is the difference between IAF and Non-IAF?
IAF (International Accreditation Forum) certificates are globally recognized and mandatory for government tenders. Non-IAF are cheaper, faster, and good for general branding/marketing but may not be accepted in tenders.
How long is the certificate valid?
An ISO certificate is typically valid for 3 years. However, a surveillance audit must be conducted annually to maintain the validity.
Do I need a physical office for ISO?
No, you do not strictly need a commercial office. ISO certifies your "Management System," so even home-based businesses or virtual offices can get certified if they have proper processes.
